Course offerings for psychiatrists and psychotherapists
The courses are intended for psychiatrists and psychologists with psychotherapeutic activity.
Time
The date can be determined together via Doodle, either on a Saturday or during the week.
Course content
Introductory course in symptom-oriented parts therapy using non-hypnotic regression, including symptom elimination and removal of foreign parts.
Time commitment
5 hours.
Course content overview
- Participants will learn non-hypnotic regression with symptom elimination through practical exercises in small groups of a maximum of eight participants, followed by discussion of the results.
- This course can help overcome most problems encountered during the therapy of the parts.
Application of non-hypnotic regression
- Targeted therapy for individual symptoms, such as sleep disorders, fatigue, stress, problems letting go, rumination, restlessness, repression, and anxiety. Therapy for parts of the personality and thus the symptoms of those parts.
- Allocation of parts, their age and symptoms through ideomotor signs, as well as listing the parts and the severity of the problems of the parts.
- Follow-up discussion of the related events with the patient.
- Therapy for psychosomatic symptoms, such as teeth grinding, headaches, pain and tension.
- Removal of introjects and inner critics from the safe place.
- Removal of other items of unknown origin from the Safe Place.
- Parts work or therapy for dissociative symptoms.
- These repressed aspects correspond to content from events that can be triggered by subsequent events. This can lead to dissociative symptoms.
- Comparison with other methods of parts work.
Course structure
Lesson 1
- 10:00 to 12:00, with a 15-minute break
- Introduction to the method. Demonstration of the method via video if required. Symptom elimination and procedure in regression.
- Common pitfalls and avoidance strategies, for example using keywords that reinforce regression.
- The rational patient and the resulting problems in regression.
- Blockages are caused by resistant parts, usually hidden parts that are deeply repressed. Alternative methods include hypnotic regression or therapy of unconscious conflicts, as well as medication to facilitate regression.
- Presentation of cases and results.
- Advantages of this method compared to hypnosis include, for example, that no hypnosis certificate is required to carry out the therapy.
Lesson 2
- 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with a 15-minute break
- Practice regression in pairs, two 30-minute sessions. Choosing a topic before the course is recommended, for example, a symptom.
- Yoga mats, blankets, chairs and rooms are provided.
- The method can also be performed while sitting and with eyes open, if necessary, for example in case of anxiety, as well as online, but not during the course.
- The regression can be interrupted and then continued.
- Discussion of the problems that arose.
- Allocation of symptoms and proportions as well as their age with ideomotor signs and setting priorities regarding the order.
- Increased frequency of pain and psychosomatic symptoms in the presence of repressed aspects.
- Removal of introjects and inner critics from the safe place and the possible improvement of the condition through this measure.
- The three levels of the Safe Place.
- Shares are usually located at the lower level.
- Why it is advantageous to bring the components to the upper level. Comparison with other therapies.
- Therapy for psychosomatic symptoms, such as headache, tension, pain, teeth grinding and PMS, including migraine, through therapy of the components and through direct regression concerning a symptom.
- What can be found during regression: parts of the patient, parts from other people, and other unspecified parts. Why parts from other people can appear in the patient's safe place and what effect they have.
- Searching for hidden parts in the lower level, either by the patient or by helper figures sent on this search. Meaning of the hidden parts and why they arise.
- Misguided psychoeducation by society, family, the workplace and schools, bullying, which can lead to the development of parts and mental illness.
- Examples include deliberately ignoring people, preventing desired activities, failing to discuss problems and emotions, and inappropriate behavior by caregivers such as continued aggression, arguments, hitting, or dominant behavior.
Documents
A template for the non-hypnotic regression exercise and an overview of the course content will be provided. Participants may take their own additional notes. Recording is not permitted.
